So let me start of by saying, I know it's only been a month and a half, but I think I have fallen in love with my JLUR. While it is not highly modified, it will get me anywhere I need to go.
And after a weekend with doors and top off I realized how much I missed my jeep. Unfortunately rain is in the forecast so doors and top back on and I cleaned her up and put on the 2nd ceramic coat and tucked her away in the garage.

I don't plan on doing a lift since I feel it is plenty capable for my beginner skills. I have done some offroading and plan to do more as time will allow. I would love to go to Windrock and do some of the badge of honor trails, and I'm sure I will. I just need to find some time to do it.

I just wanted to say that with all of the negativity on the forum towards FCA and the quality of the JL. I have found my JLUR far more impressive than my 12' JKUS. I look forward to wheeling with some of you and thanks for all of your valuable information.

Nice looking jeep! Agreed on all counts of the JL being superior to the JK... I feel for the outliers who got bad JLs but mine has been just killer.

We had a '12 JKUR, which was my husband's, but I loved it. Now that I have my JLR, I feel the same way as you—I LOVE this Jeep!

My steering isn't great, and I'm dealing with that; it was in the shop for a week after the first week, but that's its OK now. I love this Jeep.

I've always loved convertibles. My first car was a '65 MGB, and I've had an M235i and a couple Miatas (which are awesome). This Jeep gives me that open feeling I love while being better for my knee and shoulder. I'm so happy with it.
