This thread is a good example of Battered Jeep Owner Syndrome. Known manufacturing/design defect and the general consensus is that it is up to the consumer to replace or bypass the shitty design. Weird.
I had the forward collision sensor suddenly apply the brakes for no reason while I was driving in a rainstorm. No reason other than the heavy rain triggering the sensor, of course. Turned that s*** off at the first opportunity. It almost caused me to get rear ended.
I do love the active...
Turn off ignition, screen looks like it is shutting down, then pops back on again and becomes unresponsiveāno functionality, just screen on.
This has happened to me about 3 times now, randomly. Only way I know to turn it off when this happens is to disconnect the battery. After doing that it...
It's nice to see someone making a smart financial decision these days for a change. Too many are in the "have to have it now" mindset and have nothing to fall back on if times take a turn for the worse. There is a lot of financial uncertainty these days. Being conservative with a large chunk...
I had my first one done a couple weeks ago and I didn't think to specify or ask 4 or 5. They only did 4. Well, ok, whatever. They also overfilled my engine oil and unevenly inflated the tires. I think I'll be looking for a different shop.
Shouldnāt you be driving a leftymobile like a Prius or Tesla instead of a gas guzzling SUV while arguing that saving 1 gallon of gas will save the planet for future generations?
Orangeman bad! Orangeman bad! Weāre all going to die!!!!
The tard is strong with this one.
I think the argument is that a window coming loose, say at highway speeds, could cause someone behind you serious bodily harm or property damage if they wreck after said window impacts their vehicle or causes them to swerve, etc.
Your Jeep doesn't look that bad after such an accident! I'm shocked after watching that video that stuff wasn't crumpled up front. Glad you aren't hurt bad.
I can't believe you guys change your driving habits like that to accommodate that stupid "feature." Just turn that shit off! It's crazy that people add unnecessary actions to their parking sequence just so Jeep can get their extra .001% mpg boost.
