Loud noise when charging

My 4xe sounds like a 747 sometimes when it’s charging , is this normal?

Probably? The battery cooling system can be hella loud and charging generates a lot of heat in the batrery.

Normal. I’ve noticed that it happens a lot more after a longer trip when the ICE has also been running. Barely happens after an all-electric trip.

Yep, happens when I recharge right after driving and the engine is hot. Does it a few times. Sounds like the fans are on high. Startled me the first time, now it’s just a normal occurrence.
