The t case has always been stiff but Ive been able to shift into 4hi and 4lo. Until, I got the clutch recall done. Haven't been able to shift into 4lo since. I thought the cable needed adjustment as it feels like hitting a wall.

Well, the shifter isn't going all the way back. And its getting stuck in N. Busted my hand on the dash trying to shift this back to 4hi.

This may sound obvious but are you coasting along at 3-4 mph and have the transmission in neutral when trying to put it in 4-low? That's how the manual says to do it. Other than that I don't have much to add but at least this will bump the thread.

Inspect the cable under the jeep. Maybe they routed the cable incorrectly or missed a lock down bracket. It’s a pretty simple setup. Also make sure you’re rolling 1-3 mph when shifting into 4hi or low Transmission in neutral or clutch engauged

Do you know where to find a cable diagram showing how they should go? I looked under the Jeep and it looks ok to me but I dont know what correct is.

If the dealership screwed it up doing the recall it's on them to fix it.

You have better things to do with your time than to clean up someone else’s mess. If the dealer screwed this up during the recall, I wouldn’t be bothered to get dirty on this one. Simply take it back and have them adjust it.
