Came across this on product Amazon, thought I would share. Can’t help but think how handy this would be across the roll bars. From hanging items to transporting fishing rods etc… available in 3 & 5 ft runs. Think I’m gonna grab a couple. Anybody try these yet?

That's an interesting idea. I see most Jeeps using bumper mounted rod holders. I think it comes down to personal preference. Let us know how they work!

Being able to carry things near the ceiling, off the cargo floor, can be pretty handy. I once carried a large canvas painting against the inside ceiling of my old Xterra, which was only possible because I had a ceiling-hanging net in there.

With the cage in the Wrangler, I don't think I could do that, but I've been shopping for some kind of ceiling storage, like a net, for the Wrangler. It'd be useful for carrying beach towels, shoes, sandals, etc.

That’s a cool product and perfect for fishing rods.

The bumper mounted rod holder is great for the beach and surf fishing. But when you have to drive 150 miles to get to the beach they get covered with bug spatter.

I load my rods above the roll bar and between the soft top. I use the velcro straps to hold them in place. No problems yet!
