So I just got my Jeep back Monday from the shop, they put on my Clayton Off-road 2.5” Overland lift kit with Fox 2.0’s.
Yesterday was the first time since I got my Jeep in January that I’ve gotten it out and hit the trails. I tell you what!!! I’m hooked!! I’ve never had a vehicle I could do this in.
With my lift and 34’s I was able to cruise over everything no problem. That being said I didn't want to get to crazy being I’m a total novice to this stuff. But it got me wanting to add some protection to the more vulnerable areas of the undercarriage. Looking at what y’all think is the most important stuff to protect. I’ve been reading a lot and there is a lot of differing opinions. Here in Reno it’s very very rocky so I would love to err on the side of caution. Plus I want to be able to enjoy my Jeep for many years to come.

So far I’m looking at;
LCA Skids
Differential Skids
Still need rock rails looking at Rock Hard 4x4 Patriot rails
I want to get the Rock Hard Aluminum Belly skids set of the Artec full belly skid set
Either of these will be a little down the road

Any advice is appreciated

I have:
RockHard LCA skids F/R
RockHard rock sliders
RockHard FAD armor
Artec aluminum belly pan
Metalcloak diff skids F/R

I like each of them. The only negatives in my experience is that the hardware RockHard provides for the LCA skids is subpar IMO. I’m going to get yellow zinc chromate class 10.9 bolts, washers, and nuts to replace the black oxide ones that came with the skids. The washers RockHard provide deform when torqued to spec and the bolts rust too easily.

Thanks for the reply.
Sounds like almost exactly the setup I was thinking. Only difference is the only sliders I can find for the M186 & M200 diffs is Rough County.

Since the filter is on top that’s a non issue. The drain bolt is easily accessed through the oval shaped hole cut out for that purpose. Sometimes the oil may miss and drip or splash a little bit on top of the skid. Not much. It’s easily wiped off. Not messy.

Relocate the steering stabilizer, if you haven’t crushed it yet, you probably will soon.
