Mainly roads but I live in the mountains so off road when necessaryFirst you have to give us an idea of what you plan on doing with it? Because the recommendations for someone who is just cruising back roads and highways and someone who is trying to tackle trails are very different.
Right now I have 35s but I can always go 37sWhat size of tire do you plan on running with it and which Wrangler do you have?
If going off road is not going to be your hobby, then a good coil shock combo with drop brackets will probably serve you very well. There are a number of companies that offer this kind of package. AEV was mentioned earlier by someone, they are decent. I think I saw MetalCloak up above as well, they also have some high quality brackets and packages. I would recomend staying around the 2.5" lift height. You can go all out and put a set of arms on it, but for what you explained for your plans, that seems excessive. Good companies to choose from are the previous mentioned MetalCloak, and AEV. Other companies that make solid kits are Rock Krawler, and Clayton. If you decide to go with full arms instead of drop brackets, you should look at them. Of note, the companies that I've mentioned besides AEV all offer a type of flexible high misalignment joint in the arm ends. That is one of the main reasons they get highly recommended. That will improve your ride and capability over the factory clevite style or polyurethane.Mainly roads but I live in the mountains so off road when necessary
