Prob beating a dead hose asking but trying to decide before pulling the trigger

AEV vs Dynatrac? price is within about $80 on these now so not a big issue.

Ive literally read about 300 threads about these two, watch the trail recon video multiple time.

Light to moderate off-roading, mainly SoCal trails.

Maybe a trip to Moab this summer and possible a trip to the rubicon

would be going on a 2019 JLUR, factory steel bumpers, ace sliders, Smitty x20 on the front.

thinking 315's on stock rims as mainly a daily driver, with a few days off-road a month.

Thanks in Advance

Both are reportedly good. I had the AEV on my JK and it was a quality lift and rode well. It is built for weight so depending on your application you may get more lift... i.e., camping gear etc. It will ride more stiff than the Dynatrac. The Dynatrac gets good reviews, at least in the short term. It is a more cushy ride and cannot handle much weight before sagging occurs. So think of any current and long term goals and then compare again.

The question is what do you want your lift for?
Lifts are made for different purposes besides raising the vehicle.

AEV is an overlanding lift, meant to be used off-road with additional cargo & accessory weight. If you don't have that weight you might wonder why people praise it like they do. It will be stiff.

The Dynatrac is a rock crawling/day excursion lift, meant to be off-road with a stock weight Jeep. If you carry additional weight you also might wonder why people praise it like they do. It will not handle cargo weight.

So be sure to get the right lift for the way you use your Jeep. There's more to it than inches.

Forums and YouTube are great and all, but have you contacted each company to see what they have to say? They are the experts on their own product after all and you may get more info than you think (well hopefully).

I went AEV and I had dynatrac on the list as well. I am very happy I did. I think it rides fantastic on a stock (steel bumper) weight rubicon. i felt the extra parts you get with the AEV made it worth it vs the dynatrac (geo brackets, rear trackbar bracket, etc). I also added the front steering stabalizer at the same time and then 10 months later (just a few weeks ago) I added a yeti front track bar. couldnt be happier for my needs. Also, I went 37's and the dynatrac with any sagging was a risk of rubbing for me.

Is it the AEV lift with the tuned bilsteins? If so, go that route - great ride.
