After reading this, I'm glad i ordered the upgraded perforated leather (believe it's essentially Katskinz) on my JLU.

So sort of an update. I haven’t had a chance to take my Jeep in and have warranty deny my claims yet on the shiny spots on my drivers seat. I was cleaning the seats and thought what the hell, I will try a magic eraser and soapy water. I sprayed the spots down, and gently used a magic eraser for maybe 5 seconds on each spot. After wiping the seat off, all my spots are gone.
I know some will say it can take off the factory coating on the leather, but I barely put any pressure and all the shiny spots are gone, leather looks like new. So if anyone else is tired of looking at those spots, try a magic eraser and post back your results.
