Joined the leaking radiator club. Last week brought my Jeep in for an oil change and tire rotation. When the brought it back to the front the tech opened the hood and was waiting for me to come out. He showed me there was a leak on the side. Thankfully I have an extended warranty that covered it for a $100 deductible. I had been smelling antifreeze at times when I walked by the Jeep so this wasn't a surprise. Of course, the radiator wasn't in stock so had to order one. I dropped the jeep off a week later on my scheduled date and later got a call that the radiator they ordered was for a JK. So had to leave it overnight. Typical dealer service department issue for these guys.
Anyway, I've read a few people who have said they drain and reuse the coolant. In my case they didn't do that or at least charged two gallons to the warranty company.
Checking the overflow today I do see that it looks to be a bit below the minimum. I assume this is due to not getting the system totaly full. So I'm probably going to buy a gallon and top it off.
