Anyone else have knocking issues with a dana 35 rear axle? NOT the LSD. I did see the knocking lsd thread
My 2021 2 door sport s had some rear end knocking and whine noise when coasting and I took it to the dealership under warranty at around 35K miles and they replaced the rear diff (but reused axles)
Drove it off the lot and still could hear the knocking, it's a rotational knock that occurs at very low speeds forward or reverse
Didn't take it back right away as leaving it at the dealership is a 1-2 week ordeal for it to even be seen
Fast forward 2 months later, took it back for them to look at the knocking
They tell me a bolt was missing on one of the rear sway bar links (either they forgot to install it or it backed out on it's own since the last visit) and that the noise should be gone now
Picked up the jeep and drove it off the lot and you can hear the rotational knock clear as day...
Not sure what to do at this point, do I go back again and force them to fix it?
Go try a different dealership?
Is this normal jeep sounds that we just need to live with?
Any input helps, thanks
