I just received my KC Hilites Gravity Pro 6 light bar. And Not digging the black A post brackets. Has anyone had them re-powder coated to gray? If so what gray was used used and do you have any pictures? I need to match Sting Gray as close as possible. Or any other colors would be cool to see as well.

Thanks
Tom

Well to follow up my own thread I just got my brackets back from the powder-coat. They look pretty good the color is close, a little darker, but it has the same hue. The sample I had blended in pretty good the farther back I moved, but up close you can see its darker. I definitely like it better than the black. I don't have it installed yet. Hopefully that will be next weeks project. I will post pictures when I am done.

Looks nice. Any chance you'd measure how far they stick above the windshield channel?
Yes be a couple of days before I get back. But I will. And how far above the channel? not sure what part that is.

Basically a common ground so I can measure the same thing. A pic would really help. I'm really tight in space with my garage door.

Lights installed. First picture. It has been gloomy here for several days. No sun only drizzle and rain.

Ok I have the perfect tool for that kind of picture. I have a drywall square I can put along the roof and it will show all the info you will need or should if it's marked like I remember. lol

From the tallest point of the light bar, which is the top of the cover, to the top of the top hinge on the drivers door measures 29 1/8". That position of the hinge will be the same regardless of lift or tire size, or type of top. So you can pull your jeep into the opening and measure down to the top of the hinge if it's more than 29 1/4 it will fit.
