Have a set of KC Apollo 5" Halogen to install. Kit comes with harness that has relay with it. Appears there are two power wires, one yellow and one white. I assume the white wire is the relay trigger. Is there a downside to just hook up both wires (yellow and white) to battery positive post? Instructions say white wire can go to battery, fuse, or other power source. If white wire is hooked up to battery positive post, will the relay always be energized and suck power from battery even when Jeep and lights off?

If two relay legs are connected to B+, the light will always be on.

If one is the power to the switch, that’d be fine. Fuse both.
