I tried looking for any other posts about this but couldn't find any. I bought a set of JW Speaker 8700 Evolution J2 headlights with the mount kit for my 2021 JL Unlimited a couple months back from Quadratec. I just recently got around to installing them the other day (personal other stuff got in the way). First Quadratec sent the mounting brackets and hardware just loose in a box and there were no instructions for installation. Luckily it appears that everything was there and got everything mounted up and in place. I had to get installation instructions from JW Speaker's website which to tell you is very confusing because in the same instructions there are 2 totally different ways to adjust your beam pattern. This is where the problem comes in. I was trying to adjust the passenger headlight as there appears to be 2 different adjustment screws on the "cans" the headlights get mounted into, but they both only adjust vertically. I cannot find out anywhere how to adjust them horizontally. I've tried contacting Quadratec in various ways e.g. phone, e-mail, chat, etc. but can't get in touch. I tried to return them but it won't let me because it's past their 45 day return policy. Very disappointing company as I have spent thousands of dollars with them in the past as well. I contacted JW Speaker directly by phone and the girl that answered had no idea what to do other than she said she read the same instructions and was also very confused. She said she would have to kick it up to a more higher technical specialist by e-mail because according to her they don't have phones and that's the only way they communicate. Like WTF, who doesn't have a phone nowadays. Still haven't heard anything from them. So my question is, has anybody installed these headlights on their JL or I guess JT as well and if so how did you adjust them. I feel like this was a huge waste of money as they were approx. $1,400 for HEADLIGHTS. I know JW used to be very good in the past but I feel like they have gone downhill significantly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
