Planning on going to Johnson Valley the weekend of March 23/24. Pretty open on what trails to take as it’ll be my first time there. Looks like a lot of good options and diverse trails.

Nice rig! I'm a 'probably not' for that weekend and I'm definitely not built up enough for some of the harder routes there, but I'll update on this thread if my plans free up. Which trails are you planning on doing? Take lots of photos!

I've heard Fissure Mountain is a pretty fun trail out there. I've only been out there once and did the start of Bull Frog but didn't have enough time to complete it.

I can't make this trip but looking forward to reading the trip report.

Did part of Fissure Mountain last month. Had to turn around because getting dark. Harder than advertised.

What trails are you planning in Moab? I’ll be out there the week before Labor Day. Got a list in my head just have to make sure the Mrs is up to the task of doing them ?

Thanks for the recommendations guys! Fissure mountain looks like a great run. I’d like to have a go at Chocolate Thunder too. If you guys have any other trail recommendations let me know!

We've done most of the 5's & 6's. Taking a couple newbies, one with a pretty much stock Gladiator & one with a stock JLUR 392. Signed up for Seven Mile Rim, Behind the Rocks Tip-Toe, Hells Revenge (basic) & Fins N Things. Will be doing some site seeing rides also.

I'll be back in Moab 8/30/24 for the Labor Day Safari. I like this one because there's a lot fewer Jeeps/people.

Haha of course we will be leaving that day but hoping to catch Elephant Hill before heading out. I’m assuming by leaving that day we should miss all the traffic from the holiday weekend. I guess we’ll see. We’ll be in St. George the 25th, Moab the 26-30, back to St. George on the 31st, then home.
