I have a 2018 JL Unlimited Rubicon with the Premium Soft top. When we try to remove the back window it is nearly impossible to get the tabs at bottom unlatched. I feel like I'm going to tear the soft top. I can appreciate that they are tight so my back window doesn't blow out but wow, I can't get them undone, I have to rely on my husband - and even he struggles.

We just looked at a 2022 Gladiator and we see they have stitched tabs on the back window now. So you can get your fingers in to pull down and release the tabs. Great idea!

Has anyone found a hack to more easily release those back window tabs?

Thanks
Brenda

Don't know if it will help, but I always do the sides first, then the bottoms. Seems to lessen the tension.

I am assuming the tabs that attach to the tailgate bar. Pull them with a good tug. They will be tight at first but will stretch enough with use.
