New to the forum so please bear with me.
Daughter purchased flood damaged 2018 JL. I know that we are asking for problems. But have no electrical functions at all.
I replaced both batteries.
I disconnected main positive wire to starter and no voltage there.
I have checked all fuses. It has a Blue Ox tow hitch on front and I cannot locate any “Jeep/Rv “ switch in the cab for allowing Jeep to get power from rv like has been suggested on previous forums.
my next step will be to unhook diodes from taillight harness that comes from tow bar plug.
Any other suggestions? I have no interior lights, no lights, no chimes, no dash lights. Nothing.
Again, I already know that the vehicle will likely have gremlins the rest of its life but I would still like to get it powered up so I can figure out what else is needed. Thanks I’m advance for your help and don’t really need a lecture on not buying flood vehicles.

The JL is an electrical disaster to begin with….flood damage could only help IMO. The more electronics it shorts out the better.

Even with new batteries, separate and check voltage on both. Check all ground cables. Check for blown fuse array. If batteries are good, check for voltage to PDC, and keep checking until you find an open circuit. Wiring diagram would be a big help. There is a sticky in the electrical section of this forum with wiring diagrams.

Our 2018 we had to replace the front wire harness, but it sounds like if it is a flood vehicle you might want to change the computer as well. Good luck.
