Just purchased a 2024 JLUR. I previously had a 2016 JKU. I put a 3.5” Rock Krawler lift in my JKU and a bunch of other mods… I was running 35-12.5-17s on KMC Machete deadlock wheels. The wheels have a 3.5” back set and I am wondering what issues, if any I will have putting them on my new Jeep? My immediate concern is the tires rubbing the fenders as these wheels will move them out almost 1.5”. Also any insight to after market fenders would be great! My JKU had Poison Spyder Crusher fenders in xtra wide because New Hampshire requires full tire coverage for inspect, and I loved the look.
Thanks for any help.

Full coverage for the tread, or the entire tire? My -1 mm’s moved them out ~1.7” with the tread even with the XR extensions, but the sidewall is a little past them. You’ll be close.

Pretty sure it includes the sidewall… but my biggest concern is if they will rub??

Congrats on the new JLUR! With your existing wheels and tires, you'll likely face fitment issues due to the 3.5" backset. You might need to trim or modify the fenders to fit.

Consider aftermarket fenders like Poison Spyder Crusher, AEV Highmark, MetalCloak, or TeraFlex. Just ensure compatibility with your lift and tire setup. Consult a JLUR expert to avoid any issues.

Quick update… I tried my beadlock wheels today… no rubbing on steering components or inner fenders as anticipated, but at full squash they rub the outer part of the fenders pretty hard…
The best looking aftermarket flat fenders I’ve seen are no wider than the stock plastic ones.
