Jeep rubicon X wheel question

I have a 25 rubicon x with 35 factory looking at some method wheels can’t decide if 17x9 -12 or 17x8.5 0 offset would be better. No plans to lift it or go to 37s. Anyone with pics of difference would appreciate it

12.50’s on 8.5” -1mm the tread is ~ even with XR extensions

-12 would be ~ 1/2” poke
