On my Jk, I have visor warning blackout covers installed. The blackout covers, cover up the unsightly warning label found on each visor.

The covers are very good in quality. They were applied by me over 3 years ago and look mint/no peeling or fading today.

Highest quality satin black cast vinyl for clean removal, supposedly up to 10 years durability in direct sunlight. They are a direct overlay, perfect fit and very easy to apply.

Anyway ..... I need the exact measurement of each factory placed warning sticker on your JL. Again, exact measurement so I can get a vendor to offer the covers.

I'd like to get a few forum member's here to give me the measurements. This way we are all in agreement on the sizes of the warning labels.

I will request the vendor offer satin black and satin tan to match the available 2018 JL interior colors.

I assume that they will cost approx. $10.00 for the pair which will include free shipping. Note: I am not a buddy, etc. of any vendor and will see no financial gain in this blackout cover offering.... I just want the blackout covers for my JL when it arrives as I hate the friggin warning levels.

Note: The factory warning stickers are not removal.

Please post here if you have any interest in these blackout covers.

PLEASE, Take the time to give the exact measurement of each warning label. Thanks in advance for doing so!

Guys, PLEASE post exact measurements of each visor and I will contact vendors and make this happen...

Hey guys I think I likely pioneered those blackouts and sell many many sets of them for the JK. I would also just need the exact measurements of them and I can offer the same product. Because of the texture of the visor, having an overhang means the overhang won't adhere.

I am certainly willing to work with someone here and make adjustments if the first set isn't the right size. Please just reach out if you want to work on this with me.

Thanks!

Thanks for coming here. Sent the link to this thread to you this am and you got here pronto. Thanks!

The decals will need to be offered in satin black and satin tan. My JL is ordered but will be weeks before I get it so I cannot offer measurements at this time

Please one of you forum guy/gals here work with this vendor by giving exact measurements and test driving the blackout covers he provides. Would help your fellow JL owner's and you may get a set of blackouts at no cost to you I'm sure for assisting the vendor.

I added a bookmark, haven't even ordered a JL Jeep yet, but like this product. I like the funny overlays. Thanks!

Satin tan is going to be more of a challenge for sure. The JK never had tan visors so that was never a concern that needed solving.

I think it is safe to say that neither the black or the tan will ever match in exact color, sheen or texture, however they will be more attractive than the stock warning labels to a lot of people.

I'm sure once Pixeldecals gets the exact measurements they will have "funny decals" and also plain black and tan that will cover the JL visor warning stickers.

I think the tan interior also has black visors.

Not a 100% sure it appears that only black is needed. Tan interior JL's probably also have black visors. Someone will surely chime in here and tell us positively if a tan interior JL has black visors.

Exact color match is not to be expected, that is a given. Anything in a color somewhat close to factory visor color would be far far better then having to look at the hideous factory warning stickers.

What I and others here will expect is the highest quality cast vinyl for clean removal with hopefully up to 10 years durability in direct sunlight. They would be a direct overlay, perfect fit and very easy to apply.

After poking around a bit on the web, looks like all JL visors are indeed black. So, only black cover up would be needed. 8-)
Hopefully, tan interior JL owner's will chime in here..

Black visors in both interior trim colors would make sense, for sure.

Right now I make these from 5-7 year calendared vinyl. Vinyl is never meant to be a forever product, and honestly who needs it to be when it's nice to refresh graphics. I understand the visor blackout is a little different case. I don't know if you are aware, but cast vinyl is thinner which makes these harder to apply. I have been looking into making them from satin black wrap vinyl so that they are even a bit thicker than they are on calendared vinyl.

Regardless, there shouldn't be any fear that you will receive an inferior product from pixeldecals. I like to think I do my best to turn out pretty nice stuff.

Well, I'm confident that some forum member(s) will work with you on measurements. Once you provide him/her with the item he/she will post here in this thread that they are extremely happy with the product offering. After that you will see many orders, mine included.. 8-)

I'm not anal about cast vinyl, etc.. Just looking for a quality, not overly thick, cover up overlay that is easy to apply and that will last few years.

Please let us know here that you are indeed working with a JL owner on this item.
