Jeep Jamboree Moab. Who's going?

Here is a question. The are requiring GMRS radios, and I don't want to do a dash mounted one. I've found some handheld. Will they work fine?

If I had to GUESS the hand held would work since you are running in a group and will be able to talk. I beleive teh difference is teh range of them.

Yes! Used handhelds at Arch canyon this year. Worked excellent and compact. Nothing mounted.

I didn’t think I’d get in, but opened it right at 4 pm CST. I think we’ll be headed out from Houston Wednesday morning. If your getting a hotel, Moab ones are already expensive. I guess they know we’re coming.

Yes hand helds are fine they were selling them hot and heavy at their events. I am sure you can buy one off of them at the event, like I said they were selling them at the events last year with a lot of other JJ stuff.

I started trying at 5:00 PM EST....and by 5:01 it was waiting list only! I'm not sure why I didn't get in but I'm on the waiting list......?
