Home Depot happened to have a sale going for two 5Ah batteries for $150! Beats $300 for one of the newer 5Ah "powerstack" batteries.

We are going to check out Devils Bridge today and maybe Schnebly too.

I enjoyed hiking the Devils Bridge. Schnebly Is not tough, but it is rough. The views are great.

I agree with you. It's just that the concept of a zipper merge is new to me (I'm a country bumpkin- I've never encountered one). Although the idea is excellent, I don't think it'll work in practice due to the level of idiocy on the roads.

I have yet to see it work one time. in the 49 states I have been in.

Winston-Salem Dash at home against the Aberdeen Ironbirds.

We're a High-A Affiliate of the White Sox.

The Ironbirds are from Maryland, not far from Baltimore. They're affiliated with the Orioles.

Minor league games are great. We have the Iowa Cubs and it is cheap to get great seats and you get to see big leagers when they are coming back from rehab, or got sent down.

I don't keep up too much, but I do like going to the games. Supervisor is a HARDCORE Cardinals fan so he'll talk your ears off about it.

As a Cubs fan, he sounds terrible.

I pulled up last to a 4 way stop once. The other 3 people were just sitting there waving each other through. I waited for a bit. Nobody moved. So I gave up and went.

4 way stop is like a game of chicken. everyone goes until 3 of them decides to stop. this is literally when everyone is on top of everyone, realizing no one stopping.

So ABS and Stability control light went away when I went for lunch. Must have a loose speed sensor or a failing one will dive deeper Sunday.

It was, but still had too much other stuff to do, today! Hopefully tomorrow or next day, the napping will commence! When Mike came for his visit, after lunch, we’d both sit out on the porch and wouldn’t take long, and we’d both be napping! I think about that almost every time I sit out on the porch now. I sure miss him calling or texting me. He’d always start with “how’s my redneck buddy doin?” Mike was one of the best.

Speaking of naps, I had a major caffeine crash a 9am this morning. Went back to horizontal and slept until 1PM. Weird dreams! Now I'm sleep hungover.

well. it looks like the day is over for me. been out this morning. sold the tires for $400. trying to sell off a few other things that the guy is interesting in. gone grocery shopping. renewed the xm radio, which went pretty damn smooth. called and told xm that my contract is up and want to negotiate the price. the xm guy said "i can sign up the same price and plan that you have now". i said good enough for me and paid it. now its back to tire shopping.
