Mine are misaligned like this also. Guess I may adjust them also. Question is though, should they match the more forward or more rearward one?
Going by the above pics, the passenger side freedom panel is too far forward. The driver side looks centered in the perimeter seal and has a clean and consistent body panel gap with the rear of the roof. The passenger side is shifted forward and slightly cocked to the right and has a wonky gap.

Keithf said do both. I can only go off what he said as I haven’t done it myself. I’ll probably look at mine this weekend to adjust them.

this shows the 2 screws on each latch and the pin on the Freedom Panel. By moving the latch on the header you move the hole for the locating pin. You can also use the tool in the included Jeep tool kit.

After adjusting the latch and lining the freedom panel equally , i notice the driver side pin holes is closer to the left side and the passenger is centered is that how yours look like too?

Just loosen those 2 screws i have the arrows pointing at on each latch, just enough for it to move, then align the tops how you want them then tighten them back again.

first pic is the drive side, it seems like its the pin holes are closer to the black plastic compared to the second photo which is the passenger side

Just a quick question...I assume you have removed and reinstalled the panels and the same result?

I just got my rubicon 4 door. I noticed that the freedom panel are misaligned. Wondering if any of you have the same issue. No leaking or anything.

I just had this same problem with 24 Rubicon also. I had an issue with driver door making a popping noise and spent a ton of time working on it before finally diagnosing as the sheet metal where the check strap for the door goes into the door. Crappy design and no way to access it. Anyways, had it at the dealer for that and asked them to look at the freedom panels not aligning since it was there. The tech moved/adjusted the passenger side panel. In my case the passenger side panel was further back than the driver panel.

The panels were straight when I left and I had all kinds of wind noise from the adjustment. I saw comments in here about which panel should be adjusted and I’d say the driver panel. Brought mine back home, put the passenger side back where it was and it’s fine now. Last thing I’d say is that we checked a bunch of wranglers and almost all of them have improperly aligned panels.
