Just registered for my first Jeep Beach. Anyone else on here going? I've been living in the area for a few years now but haven't had a chance to go. Signed up for the regular pass + added the track lap. Anything else I should sign up for? If you've been before - how are the obstacle courses?

I go every year. I don't register or participate in any related events. I will provide a few thoughts.

1. The track lap is pretty cool to say you drove your vehicle around Daytona 500 speedway.
2. The course that is set up at the speedway is a long line of hurry up and wait. I never seen any value/fun in doing it
3. The off site trail rides can be fun, and they also can be wet and muddy. Depends on the rainfall that time of year.
4. The evening/night events is basically a show and shine, meet/greet, party.
5. The vendor show on Friday/Saturday grows bigger every year. This is the only thing I go for. I have friends who are vendors and it is my only chance to see them.

I get a campsite at Tomoka State Park for a few nights during Jeep Beach just to be around like minded folks. It acts as a good base for me to venture out and do my own thing and quick access to the beach and vendor show.

The "Tomoka Loop" .... one of my favorite morning drives. Anyone going to Daytona, do take the time to drive the loop..

Absolutely they should. People shouldn't get so caught up in the event and miss out on the local flair staring them right in the face.

Yesterday, I went from my place in Vero Beach, up to Daytona Beach, FL and was doing the Tomoka Loop , etc....... and I saw lots of Jeep JL's and JT's with out of state license plates that were doing the loop and driving around Daytona Beach.

Saw lots of Jeeps in area motel parking lots too... Hello Jeep Beach 2024...

There is no doubting the fact that Daytona Beach is the place to go if you want to look at Jeeps to get inspiration or ideas. The bonus is you can actually talk to the owners and find out about their mods. Jeep Beach has turned into a bigger version than Bike Week I feel. It is amazing driving down A1A or ISB and seeing all the out of state Jeeps.

This year will be my first time. I had my Jeep in time for last year but learned about it too late. I have to work during the week but I want to visit the vendors and see other jeeps. I'll probably go down from Jacksonville 1 day each weekend. If there's time, I want to check the scenic loop too.

I see from the registration FAQs that pets are not allowed in events. Anybody have experience with that? I am guessing that if it is an event for which I have purchased a ticket, dogs not allowed, but I am thinking vendor areas outside the racetrack and elsewhere in Daytona may not be as restrictive.
Thanks
