Jeep Adventure Academy- Moab

I just drove the jeep adventure academy in Moab and it was a fantastic time. A true adventure. We did a lot of trails/terrain which were a lot gnarlier than anything I would have imagined we would do. I have to say I am impressed with how all the jeeps handled it - mine is a 2 door Willy’s, 6MT.

the event was well run, super informative and the the hosts were great. I highly recommend this to anyone who is just getting into wheeling or jeeping and wants to learn some skills with a great group.

the adventure academy might not be for everyone and it’s probably not for the very experienced driver, but my wife and I had a fantastic time. Between the stunning Moab terrain, the fun trails and how much we learned today, the event exceeded all expectations.

if anyone was out there today, my wife and I had the red Willy’s and the dog.

It’s basically a trail ride which is sponsored by Jeep and some other companies that make accessories, equipment, parts etc. it’s well organized and the focus is on ‘stock’ Jeep capability.

We went on a really great trail ride and to be honest pushed the limits of this driver a lot farther than anything I ever did before. Cool thing was although we pushed my driving limits, We were well within the limits and the capability of the jeep.

the group leaders provide spotters at obstacles and everyone gets a hand held radio for the day to allow for communication. Very well run event. Probably about 20 wranglers and 4 gladiators participated.

We were in that area, the the north of canyonlands. Honestly we were so caught in the moment and having fun we did a pretty bad job of taking photos. I got a few of my wife and dog!
