Just arrived at the Hoo Doo hotel in Moab for a day with the Jeep Adventure Academy. I'll post more pics as the day advances and service allows.
The day started with about 1.5 hours of "training". Talked about tires and airing down, the different off road options and discussion on how to handle the terrain for the day.
I would suggest going with a partner. My wife had to stay behind last minute. Poeple were friendly but I was the only lone participant so just on my own in a line of jeeps for most of the day.
Like those below that posted we spent the day on the Monitor and Merrimac trail. Not too demanding outside of a couple of obstacles.
The training and trip was all pretty basic but for beginners it is well worth the money and trip out.
At lunch there was a class on using winches.
The academy team took a lot of pictures. I assumed we would get a link but I never saw one.
