Issues with switching to automatic temp control

I bought an 8.4 radio from a boneyard and it works great. I also bought the ATC unit so that I can control the volume of the radio aside from the steering wheel (my wife likes to turn it down if she's talking to one of the grandkids in the back seat). I have a sun sensor and I added the temp sensor under the kick panel. I used jscan to change the computer but no matter what setting I pick, something doesn't work. For example, if I select any of the ATC settings, the fan control does nothing. I would assume that if you rotate the fan knob that it would override the blower setting and would up the fan speed. If I select any of the MTC settings the fan works but I cannot adjust the temp. Also the the rear window defroster is disabled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Man I would pay to have a mod that the AC head had a big slide that went from red to blue. Or at least a hack to change temp control from auto to a sliding scale with no temp just the red to blue scale

So I figured out my own problem. I know it's been posted here before but it seems that it takes sometimes several hours for the vehicle to learn and communicate changes to all of the modules. I waited almost 3 hours and abracadabra, everything worked as it should
