Hmmm . . . the dealership I'm working with said they would do $9000 . . . Carvana said $11, 412. Will have to look into selling it to them instead.

Don't forget to double check the numbers for any sales tax credits if it applies.

Ended up getting 5% discount on invoice costs. And I noticed yesterday when looking at the invoice that there was another little discount . . . I originally wanted manual, but after test driving decided to go with automatic. Got the cold weather/convenience packages . . . sales person forgot to change the costs when he updated trans. Saved a few hundred there .

I only ended up contacting 2 dealers . . . the one I went with is on the dealer list here. I had asked for 6%, but 5% was good. Better than 1% of invoice cost discount suppliers get. I made sure hubby was appropriately impressed.

So far everything has been easy , will be sure to update the dealer status as things progress.
