Yeah, pulled mine out pretty far accidently but it clicked back up into place. I was taking off my hard top. Hooked it up to my hoist. Lifted the hardtop off a few inches and then started to drive forward. I heard a pop so immediately stopped and noted I had forgotten to disconnect the fluid and the plug. Both were pulled tight and I was a little worried I might have pulled something loose up higher, I disconnected them and finished taking the top off. Two weeks later when I put the hard top back on all of it still works. Hopefully wont make that mistake again,

Electric and water for the rear window washer and wiper on the hardtop.

I have had a 20, 21 and now in a 25. Its normal The upper connector should snap back up in the hole. Both of mine pooped out the very first time unplugging the connector to take off the top. I just leave it. Never caused any issue.

Yes, there's a cover on passenger side went to dealer they will order me the cover only like $5 hopefully it's a warrantee item

Wondering if it was left off on purpose in production? But i did look at a new rubicon in showroom yesterday it had a cover so i answered my own question...

I'd wager 90% of owners never remove their hard top. It's a process that requires multiple hands. I swapped between the hard top and soft top on my 2016 maybe 3 times before leaving the hard top on for good.

The other 10% of us have hard top lifts. Mine sits up near the ceiling during the summer and the doors hanging on the walls. I take the top off in June and leave it off until October. If it is going to rain, I drive my other car. But I would not take the top off and put it back on multiple times a month even with the lift...

I think he’s addressing my comment about the complexity of removing the Sky One Touch tops as shown in the video I posted as opposed to the simplicity of removing the regular hard top. Unless I’m misunderstanding and you do have a hoist for a SOT top.
