Yeah trust me got lots of experience with form for the last 2 winter. My problem and reason why I'm always in form is the cold temperatures ( live in Canada very cold winter in Alberta). Even after a fresh oil change, the cold cause my engine to start due to the extreme cold, then by time I'm at work, the engine is not fully warm causing me in a few day to be in form. Since update, after a few week in form and engine always starting, my oil drop really fast. I see my oil drop in a day from 80% to 10%.

But FORM activating isn't detecting fuel dilution, it's an algorithm designed to prevent fuel dilution and stale fuel. It knows nothing about the state of your oil or fuel, just that it has to run on a specified interval to help prevent those issues.

Perhaps a software update increased the frequency on which FORM activates; or; now that you've been primarily operating in EV-only mode for a year (and through a season of cold temperatures), it runs more often simply because you aren't running the engine enough on your own or through normal combustion-engine driving to prevent fuel/oil issues.

If I owned a 4xE I'd invest a lot of brain cycles to understand exactly how/why these things operate versus assuming you need a new Wrangler because of an assumed issue. That's a totally different thing if you WANT a new Wrangler just for the sake of wanting a new one, that needs no explanation ;)

My sister has a 4xe which is the only reason why I keep up with some of the hybrid tech on these.

Based on some light googling, sounds like there was a software update last winter that increased the sensitivity of the oil life monitor which alarmed many owners (Google: 4xe rapid oil life loss). A subsequent update released on 1/26/23 appears to have helped.

Are you able to confirm with your dealer that you have the latest software update? Have you tried opening a case with Jeep if your dealer hasn't been able to help?

Yes got the latest update.
I got from dealer no fix for the moment. To me that not very acceptable. I have not been able to use electricity since February lol. What is the point of a EV at this point ?.

My collant heater bad too, so that why im still in form in summer month. Still waiting for part since feb. Due to that always in form, oil goes to 0. Big circle lol.

I have a 2021 JLUR, 2.0, non torque, 31k miles and no problems what so ever with the engine. I've used regular fuel since day 1 and change oil/rotate tires every 5k miles. We get cold during the winter, but nothing like Canada. Its been driven in -10f temps.

With respect to the continued issues with FORM, it's possible that your use case exceeds the practical/reasonable operating limits of the 4xe. The recurrent short trips and the winter temperature trends seem to be forcing certain software functions to work overtime in an effort to protect the engine, potentially to the point of malfunction (e.g., the rapid reduction in remaining oil life).

My 2.0T has ~54K miles (87K kilometers) and hasn't had any problems. The engine has been fed 91+ octane and synthetic 5W-30 since new, and a used oil sample is sent to Blackstone after every fluid change. If anything hinky was occurring, either my own experienced-based perceptions and/or the data on the printed lab report would have brought it to my attention.

I bought a 2022 jeep wrangler unlimited 4xe sahara. Mine wne into form mode yesterday. Drove it about 15 miles today went to sams. Left to come home and drove in hybrid mode. Ran on battery most of the way home then went into form mode again. Do I possibly need software update? It does need a safety recall update.

If the engine start and won't turn off until you turn engine off mean you are in step 1 of form.

It is normal
