Is my winch positioned correctly?

Hello,

Just finished installing the Smittybilt X20 into your JL steel bumper winch plate.

The location of the bolt holes have the winch all the way up against the grill with a good gap in the front.

I moved the control box to the frame. Going in I wanted a cleaner look and already thought about it but after getting the winch in, there wasn't room for the cables with the control box mounted either way.

Is this the expected position?

I ran my cables underneath and put the control box on top center but backwards
