A Gladiator is as much a JEEP as a four door Wrangler is a JEEP.

Best,
-Tim
I think a 2 door with a stick is more jeepy than a 4 door automatic. But a 4 door with a stick is more jeepy than a 2 door auto.

I am, admittingly, very "late the to party" that is this thread. Restated, someone may have already expressed this and if so, apologies.

I suppose that before the question of whether a Gladiator is a Jeep can be answered these terms need to be defined.

(I'll equate for purposes of discussion Jeep and Wrangler, much that one is brand, and other a model within that brand.)

But that said, I think you can throw any definition, along with all the other physical attributes, from wheel base, to cargo capacity out the door. This question is answered with an emotional response and unqualified "yes."

The appeal of either, even if the vast majority never see anything but pavement below their tires, is one that entices people with freedom. I don't mean to sound like ad copy here, but the idea that either owner *could* take their vehicles to "places" most other vehicle couldn't navigate, and by places I not only mean terrain but people's vision of how they might customize their experience with an aftermarket no other vehicle comes close to even matching, is both the allure of, and similarity of both product lines.

Wave to both. You can't tell from the front which is which; I submit, a good thing.

Whenever a Gladiator tricks me into a Jeep wave, I feel dirty.
Whenever a four-door unlimited tricked me into a Jeep wave I felt dirty.

Now I just don't wave at all. Solves the problem for me.

A two-door is always the right answer. Even with an automatic it's "more Jeep" than any filthy four-door soccer mom mobile.

Don't be angry. I chose having some room inside the vehicle. You don't need to hate.

Another vapid thread. At first your incessant posts about inane topics were dismissed as being new, but it's become difficult to avoid the constant spewing of posts and threads that are lacking any meaning, just a constant attention grab. Is your character truly so banal?
