Is a rear track bar brace really needed?

I saw where a few people were running it. I just hadn't seen or heard of any issues before. Can you notice a difference afterwards? Is it worth $150? Are there any cons to it? Fitment issues or anything like that?

IMHO, it's just preventative for the most part. It's hard to tell what's going on back there because you don't have a direct connection through the steering feel like you do in the front. I personally figured since I was under there putting in a new track bar, axle-side bracket (roll center) and sway links, I might as well beef up the obviously "week" frame-side connection point with the Synergy brace. I can state that it's seriously beefed up now, and the install was simple - and it also has the added benefit of slightly moving your entire sway bar down about 1/3" for a more level bar after a lift.

Is it worth it if you don't plan to be rough or slap big, heavy wheels and tires on it - probably not.

Is it worth it if you plan to keep the jeep long term, and plan to put it through it's paces once in a while and are under there doing some other track bar work, IMHO, yes. If you put that brace on there, you'll probably never have to worry about that area ever again.

I bought this and installed it today. Mostly because i was curious about it. It's a noticeable improvement on side to side movement. The factory frame bracket does move and flex. I could immediately tell a difference. No more tail end wiggle.
