This. If you never going to take it offroad or even on mild/moderate trails, then save yourself some $$$. I have a '20 and have yet to have problems on moderate trails. If you just want a Jeep to drive around in, go to the beach, and hit some mild trails with, the 23 will be fine.
If you know you want to hit more technical trails, or you know you want 33s right away with ability to go up to 35s without really needing to regear, then the 24 is the way to go.
