Big wave to everyone here. My first Jeep ever and so far I'm really lovin it! I've had this beaut for about a couple weeks now and haven't had a chance to take it off road yet, but I picked up the kids from school today and decided to partake in some light after school shenanigans.

What tire size are you running? How high is the lift?

I like the stance of yours. I'm running 285/70R17 on stock Sport S suspension. Looking for a lift, but I don't want the tires to look lost.

Hello- fourth Jeep

First one was a 95 YJ with the 4 banger. Tons of fun. Kept it stock as I was a broke 18 year old but that Jeep went places most never will.

After a super long jeepless gap I got an 87 YJ. That one never made it on road while it was with me. More of a farm Jeep but still fun.

Then I had a bad experience with a 2017 JK Willy’s Wheeler. It leaked ALOT of water. I know it’s a Jeep but this was bad. After almost a year of that FCA finally bought it back.

So here I am with number four- a 2019 JL two door Sport S in Mojito (loving the color). I plan to keep it stock for as long as possible- no hard core off roading until at least the warranty period is up. No lift. No oversized tires. Stock- topless, doorless, camping style fun with the kids.

Actually we took her camping over the weekend with under a 100 miles. Lots of fun. Looking forward to checking in here and sharing some Jeep experiences. This forum has been very helpful during the buying/dreaming process.

Hi everyone,

Bought my third wrangler at the beginning of the month. I went with a 2019 2L Ocean Blue Sport S Freedom Hardtop with the Uconnect upgrade to 7 in. Previously, I owned a 15 Sahara unlimited and 04 TJ X. Loved both of those Jeeps, but the JL is without question my favorite (followed by the TJ). So far i have installed the molded running boards, gas filler cover, removed the bumper to fender fillers, installed all weather mats, and flipped the rear view.

Just wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know im located in Eastern NC and down for meets, group installs or help, etc.

Crystal and Greg Checking in from Cali. We are new to Jeep but not new to the wheeling world. Our two old rigs are SAS'd 4Runner and a Tacoma, but that was sold to get ready to take delivery of our Launch Edition Gladiator! From everything we have been reading online from the cab forward its a JL, but cab back a little different.

We will be looking forward lifting her as soon as we take delivery so we can start hitting the trails. We plan on doing a 50 state Road Trip this summer hopefully we will be able to meet some of you along the way..

We have our mod list ready, just need the darn Jeep.....

Had to drive back with the wife and man child from Atlanta - "Charlotte" today after a trip to see the in-laws. Biggest pull from the trip was a partial estate check from my father-in-law's passing, and the sale of his truck, and distribution of funds. This FINALLY put me into the down-payment range I want to be in to get one of these trucks. 20 years in the waiting! When I had the privilege of my parents asking me what vehicle I wanted when I turned 16 I immediately said "Jeep" but instead got "not a Jeep" (see: Acura Integra, complete opposite end of the spectrum...)

On the drive back I got my Auto Loan approval from USAA and then utilized their app to do some car buying initiated for a meager discount added but any discount is a discount. With-in 5 minutes I was inundated with ~5 dealers vying for my business. Talked to 2 and wasn't too keen on them yet, but then talked to one fairly close to work and home and set up an appointment for Thursday to potentially have my D-Day set. So stoked.

Apparently all I have to do now is decide on 2.0 turbo or the 3.6. Buddy says to go 3.6 for power, and my only unease is that the 2.0 is a "new" engine. I am hunting later 2018 models as they will be the most steeply discounted, and likely for me to negotiate "this is where I need to be tax/tag/title." For some reason I can't wait to play the "I am not paying a $640 document fee, nor am I paying for your 'millennium package' because you jumped the gun and tossed Scotch-Guard all over the vehicle."

Greetings from Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin!

First time Jeep owner here with my new 2019 Sahara JLU owner here. After moving up here from NC a year and a half ago and now working for a Jeep dealership I had to jump on board. I definitely have plans once I have learned more about my Jeep as to modifications with lift/wheel/tire combos, winches, bumpers, and whatnot.

Looking forward to meeting and interacting with everyone here!

2 Door Rubicon soft top in Punk’n with the 3.6. I grew up riding around in my dad’s orange CJ-5 so it’s definitely a fitting follow up.
