We purchased our Jeep Sahara Unlimited about 3 months ago. It already had a lift, and larger tires on it when we purchased it. This is the first Jeep we’ve ever owned. So far no problems with it, except for around $6000 in hail damage at the 6 week point. It should be fixed hopefully sometime in October after we get my wife’s Honda Pilot out of the shop from hail damage, around $13,000. Living in Wyoming, there are plenty of places to drive off road. This thing does everything we need it to and more. We’ll be so happy when our electric running board are installed. Kinda hard for my wife to get in this thing.

Hello All,
Scott From North Carolina here. I have been without a Jeep for nearly 2 years which is about the longest I have ever been without one (Had to drive a van for work) A job change is coming, so naturally I have a jeep on my mind. Lately I went from looking for an old TJ as weekend vehicle to talking myself in to a purchasing a JKU instead (Baby on the way). With most JKs costing around 25-30K, I have gone to the logic, of why buy a used JKU when I can buy a new JLU for just over 30K. Now my logic is, If I am going to purchase a new JLU, why not get a stripped down JLUR (Mojito or White) and make the jeep last forever.
IF I do go the JLUR route; I will want to add a lift, likely the 2" Mopar lift, 37" tires and the Mopar bead locks.
Now I am wondering if I buy one off of the lot instead of ordering one, how is the market is for Rubi take off items. I have been watchign the classifieds, but not seeing actual sold prices.
What can I reasonably expect to get for the following:
Suspension
Tires
(BFG or the others)
Steel Front Bumper
Steel Rear Bumper

Hello from Western Pennsylvania.

Ordered my first Wrangler last month, expecting delivery this week according to the dealer. I can't wait!!!!

My father had a commando that I was able to drive growing up as well as several wagoneers. Many great memories driving that commando!

I've put on 600 miles since delivery, added Mopar 82215123 Fuel Filler Door in Black

Long time Wrangler owner, first time caller...We've had the pleasure of owning multiple Wranglers since my '95 (bought in the late '90's)....might be pushing 20 years in Wranglers! Currently own a Hyper Green Rubicon. Popping in to learn about the JLU...we have one on the Horizon. Cheers!

Bill from NY.. ordered my 2 door sport s manual in punk'n on 7/27. Premium soft top, Alpine upgrade,upgaded rims and tires,rear differential.
Can't wait to be in another Wrangler. My first new car I ever bought was a 91 Wrangler black hard top, after market soft top... Bare to the bone manual transmission..... Loved her

What’s up I’m new here. My name is Rich new Jeep owner. Went and bought 2 new JL wranglers sports. Me and the wife dig em. Haven’t built on them yet. We r from the High Desert I’m So Cal. Currently have order and being shipped 2.5 inch rough country spring suspension lifts. Next want to do 35” patriots on method standards. Grew up in outdoors off-road scene just never in a Jeep. Lookin forward to camping off grid and exploring more with the wife kids and dogs. Gonna throw everything I can at my Jeeps to make sure they are trail ready and road worthy.

and reading up as much as possible.
Lots of info here on the forum. I want a off-road
Monster and figured the Rubi should fit that title.
Prob overkill, but need something that will tackle what I throw at it.

WooHoo! Became owner of a JLUR. Okay...wife became owner of it as I type from the pass. seat. Drove off the lot at 12pm and at 830 pm, it was going off-road with 335 miles on it.

Just picked up a JLUR. My first Jeep, first SUV actually. Not new to modding vehicles though, I have built two magazine feature small Fords (Focus ST and a Fiesta ST). Decided I really wanted to get my kids out and about in Colorado and be able to adventure wherever we wanted without being limited by the car. Drove a lifted JK and a stock JLU Sport S and decided I wanted the JL. Went back when I realized they had a manual JLUR and ended up taking her home!
