Hi, I'm George and my Jeep driving mate is Judy. We've been owning and driving Jeeps since our first in 1965, that's just 3 years short of the time we were married! That Jeep was a red CJ5 "Tuxedo Park" model and since then we've owned and driven 27 different Jeeps both new and used! Right now we have a 2015 Cherokee Trailhawk, and a new 2018 Sahara JLU which are Jeep's 26 and 27.

We now only do moderate of road stuff plus mostly beach sand driving towing a small skiff behind. Yes we did choose another Sahara, we had a 2012 JKU Sahara and I went and traded that sweetheart for a Cherokee TH! Judy already had a TH on lease and I really liked it! What a mistake trading my '12 JKU. Sure like the Cherokee TH but missed the JKU badly. Judy's lease ran out a couple months ago and bang budget down the tubes and we had a new JLU! No wonder we are always broke...but having a ball!

How is the JLU, it's just about perfect as of 2500 miles, only complaint is perhaps tires and of course that can change! That complaint is that with limited slip diff (Anti-Spin) option it was suppose to come with Bridgestone A/T's all terrain but it came with Bridgestone H/T's All Season tires?? I like the A/T Bridgestone's and they wore really well. Most of my driving now is a 65 mile commute mostly highway and some sandy off road so it's been ok.They are quiet at least...gettin' old I guess, am I !!!!!

Hi, I'm Abe. I too have been a lurker for a while until now. I'm an EMT and a Soldier in the Army NG. My daily is my 02 WJ. Worked my ass off to save for it and slowly fixed all the problems it had and then modified it for some light off-roading. I'm working on getting my career, and finally reaching peak adulting status. Although I don't own one yet, I promised myself I would buy myself a JL as a gift to myself for finally reaching that milestone in my life. Until then though I'll continue to absorb all the knowledge this place has to offer and also share some of mine that I've learned over the years of working on my old WJ.

Hi I am Chris.. not new to Jeep’s. Have an 09 Sahara. Went to the dealership last week to just “check out” the new JL, ended up ordering a JLUR, trading in my 09..lol. Just love the new style, and gotta be stick, hate auto. Ended up getting almost 3% below invoice.

AWESOME CHOICE! I just took delivery of my 2018 Rubicon JLU factory order on 2/19/18. This is my 4th Jeep. First two while living in CO, third a street jockey in OH and the 4th my factory order is my current mid life crisis special! I waited patiently for the new models to hit the showrooms....well worth the wait. IT ROCKS! Stuck with the 6 spd manual by CHOICE and am so happy! Compliments haven't stopped on its outrageously good looks! The drive experience is great! Clutch from dead stop a bit sensitive but having driven stick for 35 years, trust me, I'll get used to it. No mods yet....still waiting for some quality JL accessories to hit the market. Enjoy!!

After 3 months the fun factor hasn’t diminished. Just hit 1941 miles yesterday. Still looking for a good set of “steps/rails” to compliment the factory Rubicon Rock Rails. I’m so happy with the choice! Have a 10 day trip to my old CO stomping grounds planned for this summer. Should be a blast!

HI! I'm new here! I just traded my 2016 JKU Sahara for a 2018 JLU Sahara and I LOVE IT!!! Only 1 thing nit so good so far, my Sirius XM works great, no problems, but I can not get any FM radio signal... I always listen to the local news on my way to work in the mornings. Should I take to dealership and have them take a look at it? Anyone else with this problem?
