Hi,
I'm Travis from Idaho. I have been a member since March of 2019 and have spent many hours reading and learning from members of this forum. We currently have two jeeps in the family, but neither are Wranglers. Although, I purchased both, my boys drive them and claim them as their own. My oldest who is in college drives a 2006 Grand Cherokee and my Junior in HS drives a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ. I thought I'd be purchasing my first Wrangler in the summer of 2019, but my strong urge to do lots of research before buying anything as well as other "life" stuff postponed my ownership. I've changed my mind multiple times on what I wanted for engine, color, and interior over that time. I finally decided what I wanted in January, and of course the color that I wanted to order (Mojito) was no longer an option. I have been considering Mojito, Ocean Blue, and Granite Crystal for most of the year, so with Mojito no longer available I knew what my next choice was. This is what I ordered last Friday and now I wait...

I ordered it from Peterson Ram/Jeep dealership in Nampa, Idaho, which is less that 10 miles from where I live. I feel very good about the price that mathematically worked out to 7.88% below Invoice price. I received my VIN and VON numbers today, so I will be driving myself nuts checking the status of the build over the next 6 weeks, or so. Since I've been researching this for so long, I have a spread sheet with many parts that I plan to order as time and $$$ allows.

Hello everyone! Just got my first Jeep ever, a black JLUR whose name will be Wilma!
I cannot wait to get it DIRTY outside (the inside will be dirty in no time). To be honest, after learning how to drive on a solid axle 1992 Fiat Panda, The JLU seems very similar :D, and I love it!

Hello everyone,

Greetings from good old Germany.

I still do not own a Jeep Wrangler but it´s my intention to buy one this year.

During our last summer holidays in Italy my wife and me visited a dealer´s Jeep promotion on a street festival, just for fun.
“The next car we will buy is a such one”, she said to me after we had just entered a Jeep Wrangler. Wow.
Being always a car nerd my whole life long, I agreed.

Weeks later, back in Germany, we test drove a JL Unlimited Sahara 2.0 and felt in love with this car.

Currently, our fun cars are a Corvette C4 and a C6. Something totally different, I know.

I still struggle a little bit with the decision, if my first Jeep shall become a JLU Sahara or a JLU Rubicon.

I hope to share some useful information here.

If you have a choice go with the Rubicon! There has to be lots of great areas to off road with so many mountainous Countries close by! I go to Germany often with work (fly to Munich and work for Liebherr in Ehingen). Leaving for Germany this Sunday as a matter of fact. Love exploring and hope to one day get to Berlin.

I am in Bracebridge (Muskoka) and have a great customer in Thunder Bay. I have been there quite a few times. You must have some great areas to explore. I once drove from T.Bay to Kenora and then back!!! Won't do that again, lol. But would have been better in my Jeep for sure.

Hi all,
Lee from Bracebridge. Have a 2018 JLU Rubicon. My third Jeep, first Rubicon and love it. Wife actually talked ME into trading in our Sahara when the JLU first came out. So glad we did! First big snowstorm here, I was messing around in the garage with a hardtop lift and had the great idea to take the doors off as well as the top and go for a spin during the storm.
Had ski googles on. Went through Tim's drive thru. One of my sons came with me and we had a good laugh at all the looks we were getting.

Hey Lee,

There are quite of bit of bush roads and trails around here. Most are pretty easy driving but for those that are not being maintained anymore it can get fun. Did you do the drive to Kenora in the winter? It's a pretty long windy drive normally but in the winter its just sucks.hahaha

Hello everyone,
I'm from New York and just recently became a member of the family with a black 2020 JLUR. Came from an Infinity QX60 and before that I've driven grand Cherokees and Pathfinders. I can honestly say that I'm very pleased with my Wrangler and dont think I'm going anywhere else in the future.

If anyone wants a laugh its only been 3 weeks and I already have 2 issues, shes going back to the dealer for rectification.

1- 10 mins after taking delivery I got a message that the front driver signal light is out. I've checked and replaced the bulb, no help. Then I realized the DRL is also out on the same side.
2- I have 2 different fenders installed. I have a Rubicon fender on the passenger side and what looks like a regular fender on the driver side, I dont know if that is a reason why the turn and drl lights dont work.
Has anyone else heard or have this happen to them?

Hey everyone! I purchased my JL sport s this week and I am in love. A 2 door Wrangler has been a dream of mine since I was 7 years old! A smile has been glued to my face every time I have been driving my jeep this week! (unfortunately I have to take pesky work breaks away from the jeep- I suppose I need to pay for all these accessories somehow I am in upstate NY a stones throw from Canada so the top wont be coming off any time soon but I am very excited for summer!

Hello everyone!
I've wanted to own a Wrangler for as long as I can remember.... Life, kids, responsibilities, seems there was always something that got in the way. I am not new to Jeep ownership, have owned 5 Grand Cherokees so far but a Wrangler remained an elusive beast for me. Until today that is! The dream finally came true as all the stars seemed to have aligned and only a few days before my birthday. I've put aside every excuse and obstacle that prevented me from owning a Wrangler for decades and today I have become a proud owner of a JLUR.
