Insane audio jl3001 issues

Hello everyone ! Just wondering if anyone who has an insane audio jl3001 has had any issues with it ? This past weekend I was listening to the radio when the head unit began to smoke ALOT. then the screen suddenly shut off. The fuse was blown so I replaced it and it blew again. The head unit got EXTREMELY hot to the point where I couldn’t touch the metal. I spoke with insane audio they offered me an upgrade option to their new jl4001 but I’d hate to spend another 850 dollars when 1500 was spent on this one just 2 years ago

What was wrong with the factory radio you had? From the looks of your Jeep in the pic it had the 8.4.

The factory head unit is very limited in comparison this head unit allows for much more customization example would be its 60g hard drive with wireless CarPlay, downloadable apps such as Spotify,waze ,off road navigation apps , google , email and many more. It also has much more eq options it also has rca ports to add amps, rock cams ect

do you still have your stock radio? If so run far from that company and go back to stock. Or maybe look into Linkswell 12" tablet

Man. Smoke coming out? Dude you have bigger issues. I agree with @emilboya - run and cut your losses.
