So I just called Mopar Customer support and she told me that if I buy it, I just need to call and they can transfer the original warranty for me. Gave me a case number and everything. I asked specifically if she was 00% sure and she said yes. The dealer does not know this and is going to give me a bit of a discount to boot.
Mopar Customer Support is often 00% sure…hopefully you meant 100% sure and it turns out to be true when it comes time to use it.

Generally speaking an extended warranty from a credit union is much less expensive than the dealer or an aftermarket company.

I wish I had known that two years ago when I bought my '22. Found out my Canadian Glad wasn't covered when I had transmission issue. Neither the selling Chevy dealer nor the local Jeep dealer that I took it to were aware that the warranty didn't transfer. The Chevy dealership ended up covering the repair then sold me an extended warranty "at cost".

Are you sure that solves your problem? Sounds like you would still have a Canadian warranty, not a USA warranty.
