I'm not from the east coast so the whole Beach Week is completely lost on me as to its importance in the Jeep Universe. That said, I'm one of those red jacket guys who's been going to Moab for Easter Jeep Safari since the mid-1990's. I was actually disappointed that the Moab edition Wrangler was just a trim package and was not a version with Rubicon running gear. Oh well...

Congratulations! Awesome choice! I almost had my wife ready to get one of those beach theme Jeeps for herself. I really enjoy driving on the North Carolina beaches in my Rubicon especially the Outer Banks. I've never been to Jeep Beach though. Maybe one year I'll make my way down there.

The event culminates with more than 3,500 Jeep vehicles driving on the beaches for the world famous Jeep Beach Parade. I've never been, but it seems like a pretty big deal.

I get that it's a big deal, I'm just surprised that I've never heard of it before Jeep's announcement. I've always thought that all the people in Daytona Beach in April is more about spring break than Jeeps.

Just introducing myself. Last week I ordered a White High Tide for my wife and eventually my daughter, who turns 16 in July. Got it at invoice and the build priority is 01. They say it'll be here before Jeep Beach in April.

My last Jeep was a 2003 Sahara, but I currently drive a 2018 F-150 FX4.

Congrats. Good luck with that date. I’ve ordered Black High Tide over 2 weeks ago and it’s still in D status. Don’t think we’ll see them in time for Daytona.

Spring break is in March.

Jeep Beach started out as a local club doing local things and it has turned into a nationally recognized event. I have been three times and it has grown each year. It is not for everyone, large crowds, traffic everywhere, long waits on trail rides, ect. Some love it.

What is D status?

Your Jeep is currently gathering parts and once all parts are gathered it will be scheduled for production. You Jeep enters "D" Status about two days after you order it.

Yeah that's where mine is, but others are reportedly built and awaiting shipment. How could someone check their status?

Couple of different ways. Pick your poison.

Jeep Chat. You need you VIN# or at least VON# if you haven't received VIN from dealer yet.

Dealer. Supposed to have access to more current information than JC will give you. Whether they provide you with that info may be based of your relationship with them.
