I decided to sell my 2018 JLU about a year ago because I was experiencing some electrical issues that I couldn't get resolved and didn't have time to mess with it.

I didn't think much of it and decided to go the safe route and get a Tacoma.

8 months in and I was having extreme buyers remorse. I missed virtually everything about the Jeep (outside of reliability issues).

So I just placed an order on a 2024 JLU Sport S and couldn't be more excited to be back in the club! Hopefully it doesn't take a year to get it built, but even if it does, I'm willing to wait because I miss it so much.

If anyone that has ordered a 2024 has any insight on the build lead time and anything else that a new buyer might need to know about the overall build experience, please drop a comment! Thanks!

I placed the order for my 24 JL Willy’s in July and put my JK up for sale shortly after. I figured it would take me a while to sell, so initially was worried I would have 2 Jeeps I couldn’t afford.

Well it took 3 weeks to sell the JK and 6mo for my JL to arrive. I didn’t think I’d miss driving my Jeep as much as I did.

I ordered the mine with the XR package and duel tops. I think that coupled with the strike definitely added to my wait. I’m pretty sure they are coming in much faster now. It gets a little annoying because most of the trackers are not very accurate and god forbid Stellantis actually put an effort into customer service.

I ordered mine through Mitch at Ourisman. He was great. Always answered my emails quickly was really accurate with the timing.

Good luck and welcome back !

Congrats on coming back and your 2024 order!

I don’t think there is a standard lead time.

I have a 2024 392 on order from Koons that I put the deposit down last October.

Currently it’s been in E status (production) for the past month. Think I’ll be happy to get it by February lol.

Good luck!
