Are your shocks aluminum bodied? I wish they woulda given a little more of a run down of the components offered. What makes your control arms better than stock, here are the 3 shocks we offer, etc.

Also looked like the springs were at coil bind at the 6:05 mark this mitigating the dual rate, and the spring didn’t seem to be compressed.
The 2.0 VS Series has aluminum cylinders and the 2.5 Series has steel cylinder bodies.
What information are you in search of? I can help answer any questions you may have.
Here is the tech notes listed for the control arms we offer:
"Tubular steel link arms with dual durometer bushings for noise free performance, maximum articulation, and minimal bind"

The interview had our JLUR in the back ground partially articulated on the driver side with the coil springs removed. Make the 6:05 mark was a typo, but I can help clarify any confusion.

We are a San Diego dealer for ICON products and we have had great luck with ICON's JK, JL, and truck products. Im really bummed if Lembowski spoke to any of our stores and wasnt offered ICON. I know theres a dozen brands of lifts to offer so things get left out sometimes, but ICON products are top of the line for any vehicle they offer for.

What I hope people understand, is ICON is a great brand that has well put together "Stage" kits, but if you ever feel like you dont exactly fit into a certain stage, let me know and I can customize a package based on the parts you want, and nothing you don't "need".

I’d be interested but really don’t like the business practice of Icon. Specifically that the kit only comes with bump stops for 35’s. To run 37’s with proper bumps you have to buy their incredibly overpriced $157 bump stop kit as an add on option.

Icon, you should include both or set it up so that bump size is a choice when selecting the kit.

Competition like Teraflex and Metalcloak give you adjustable bump stops included in their kits.

Otherwise the stage 3 kit is pretty complete and really all you need.

And finally, I have no doubt the kits are quality. I know a shop owner who does a lot of Toys and that’s his go to suspension for them.

The Balboa location pointed me towards King shocks and I think an EVO kit due to their opinion of the shocks, adjustable arms and bushings used in the arms. They built me a work order for Icon when asked. The guy helping me seemed very excited about the Kings/EVO but less than enthusiastic about Icon. Sometimes it what you don’t say that says it all.

I wasn’t ready to spend a ton on the kit and wanted something just to get me by until more options came out. I’ll be back to your shop before next summer to see what all options I have then.

All that being said he was a great rep and did what he said he would do and super excited about having my JL built up.

Thank you for your insight.
The idea of including multiple height bump stops was discussed. The consensus was to only include what is needed for optimal performance of the components in the system. The overall compressed length of the shock has always been the primary factor when determining spacer height. The goal was to minimize bump stop spacer height to maximize usable wheel travel. Knowing full well that 37" tires are a common upgrade, our engineers figured out the least amount of bump spacer needed while not limiting travel too drastically. Hence the ICON #22029 kit available as an option opposed to an added cost across the board.

That makes sense! We have the Kings in stock, and i have a feeling for the package our employee was creating we didnt have the complete ICON kit ready to serve that day. I apologize if that employee gave off any aire that ICON was anything but an excellent brand.

We are a company that doesnt jump on band wagons for the sake of flying any one flag, so you will see a good mix of opinions in our stores (which is a good thing!)

We did the Teraflex SP3 3.5" 3.3 Series kit on our Company JL, but i'm proud to say that my coworker (with a Mojito JL) has just purchased his Stage 8 ICON kit and we will be installing that soon.

Thank you very much for your thoughts.

My office was below the office that was burning so my work area was soaked in water, destroying it. Hoping to get back in there soon, but I’ll be busy from my home PC

Just pulled the trigger on a stage 8. Sitting in a shop, have a week at the end of November where I'll get it installed. Review to come. Planning on 37's.
