How do I turn off emails for alerts?

How do I turn off alert emails, I looked under alert preferences and I can’t seem to find it there? Every time someone likes, quotes, or generally replies to a thread that I have posted in I get an email, I woke up this morning to 38 emails.

If this reads 'unwatch thread' just click on it... over towards the right.

Yeah, no. That doesnt get it. There's a glitch that's turning the watch back on whenever you post. You have to go to SETTINGS.....PREFERENCES, and uncheck AUTOMATICALLY WATCH THREADS I CREATE OR REPLY TO.

Go to your account preferences: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/account/preferences

And uncheck the first two boxes — Automatically Watch Threads and Receive Emails

You may need to go to your watched threads list (https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/watched/threads/all), unwatch each thread, then click watch again so you can get the option to watch the thread without receiving an email alert?

Your settings are ok... when you 'watch' a thread, just make sure you don't select 'and receive e-mail alerts.'

Thanks, I "unwatched" them all, then they disappeared... LOL Oh well, I'll try to figure out who/what/where they were and "re-watch" them.
