We have a 2018 Jeep JLU Sahara and a gallon of water leaked in the rear passenger floor up under the passenger front seat as well. We tried soaking it up but it's beginning to smell. Are there clear instructions on how to remove the carpets so I can clean them and air dry? I've read comments about just being able to yank them out without removing seats but I haven't read anything concrete (or seen a video that shows that).

Any specific notes on how best to remove them would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks, I didn't see your update that included the owners manual and it it looked like I would've had to take the seats out (apparently not according to the manual). Anyhow, we ended up using a small carpet cleaner to clean and dry and that seems to have done pretty well.

Do yourself a favor and remove the carpet anyways and install Armorlite.
