QUESTION - if the doors are off will the side airbags still deploy in a crash? I ask because...
When I put my doors back on I rarely plug in the wiring harness because I don't have automatic locks or windows. So the Jeep computer doesn't know the doors are on.
I'd like to have the airbags pop if needed to save my a$$.

The wiring harness clip is hard to plug/unplug. I'm afraid I will break it. So I just leave it unplugged mostly.

I would check the owners manual but I do not believe removing your doors (un-plugging the harness) disables the airbags, I would bet they are active regardless.
