With the exception of the Rubicon option; is there anything else out there?

It looks like a quality part, but I'm not really a fan of that. Looks too JK-esque to me. Too flat, or because of the ram air, or something? I'm not sure what it is that doesn't sit right with me.

Any other options?

Sigh. I’ve been looking at options as well. Seems the Jeep created a hole in my pocket.

There’s the JL euro hood, Owens Venom (Venum?) hood on Quadratec, Fiberwerx has two offerings, and TOTL’s product on @SteadyC which looks great.

I like the look of that RebelX hood but from an engineering standpoint it's not very well thought out. Why would they put the heat extractors directly in front of the intake ports. Instead of drawing in cooler air (as intended by ram air style hoods) you'll draw in warm air that was just pulled from the engine compartment.
I guess it's not a huge deal if you don't duct the ports to the intake box. Then you'll just have a circulation through the engine compartment which may be slightly beneficial.

I can't really see the second to last one too well, but looks like it may be a take on stock Rubicon hood? Of anything I've seen so far, Mopar nailed it with their design. It think heat extractors look better on the Wrangler than ram air does. I'd be interested in the DV8 replica or OEM Rubicon hood. Still interested in any other designs though, because there's always a chance there's something better.

Sorry I didn’t label them. The 2nd to last one is the JL euro hood. I agree that the oem designs have been pretty good.

That one is the only decent looking one imo. Id still rather get an oem rubi hood if im going to swap hoods. Jeep hit a homerun with that hood

I’m still undecided between the euro hood or totl designs. Not that it matters much to me but has it been determined that the OEM vents don’t work?

Agreed! This thread just reminded me how much I like the Rubi hood. Now you have me stuck staring at my Jeep again. It happens. A lot.

Correct, they have a solid panel beneath them with a wee little hole for drainage, that I supposed air can also escape from.
Very easy (and free) mod to make them work though.
I found this youtube video that shows it pretty well. ↓

In the video he doesn't put the heat shield back on the hood. I would just trim that too, and put it back on. Otherwise the video shows the whole process. If I get one, I'll likely do something similar, but I'll probably customize the process a bit to keep the engine drier since I live in a wet/snowy climate.

Wonder if that could be done with my Rebel as well
