Me. I just saw it around the hinges but they said there was more when they inspected it. It's fully covered. I had a long list of things they broke/lost/messed up when mine went in for repaint so be very vigilant when inspecting.

Mine is in the shop right now for hood corrosion, should be picking it back up tomorrow. Will be going over it with a fine toothed comb for sure

We had all 4 doors, hood and hinges replaced under warrantee on my wife's Jeep. Oddly we had a few dealerships tell us it was not covered under warrantee. I called Ma Mopar herself and was assured it would be covered by warrantee, so I started calling around again. Most dealerships that I contacted were so backlogged with corrosion repairs that they would not get us in. Jeff Wyler Jeep in Canal Winchester got us in in a very timely manner and did a great job. They finished 1 month before warrantee expired!! Be persistent, that corrosion spreads fast once it starts!

I was hoping they would just give me a new hood, as that would have been faster. The sanding and repaint as described in the TSB has been a 2 week process for me.

We were told due to so many claims, there was a severe shortage of parts. We were originally told it was going to take 4 months or more to get the parts, but it ended up being a month. Maybe they are not replacing due to hood shortage??

No! Repainting the parts does not fix the problem. The corrosion will come back. The proper fix according to the TSB’s and the Jeep body shop is to replace any parts showing corrosion and paint. I just had major work done on my 2018 that had corrosion starting when it was only 2 yrs old. In January 2025 they replaced all 4 doors, tailgate, windshield frame, hood, left front fender and every single hinge. Stellantis covered 70% of the repairs. I was left to pay $5.8K. My Jeep was at 56K miles and out of warranty at the time.

Well, I'm bringing my Jeep in tomorrow to have it looked at. When I made the appointment, a service advisor called me and told me that since I was >36K miles it isn't covered. I told him it's obviously a defect in the paint and after much hemming and hawing he said he could start a claim with Stellantis. According to him "I've never seen this covered outside the 36K warranty, only when they had the extended warranty". I'm very disappointed that the first stance is "not our problem" and will only file a claim after pulling teeth. Really hoping Stellantis does the right thing.

@JeepCares - if you have interest in helping out, I can DM you the dealership and service advisor's name.

Supposedly it's a 5 year unlimited mileage corrosion warranty.

Well, the saga continues. I brought it to the dealership and they acknowledged that there is a 5 year corrosion warranty on my Jeep but "they've used up their corrosion allocation for the year in the first 2 months". So - I can wait until 2026 and get in line. What the hell? It's covered under warranty but they can't fix it? I'm going to try another dealership.

In case you have corrosion, you won't have luck at AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Carlsbad. Service advisor Seth isn't up to speed on warranty coverage either.

That's the craziest excuse I ever heard, how is it your problem/fault that there are a lot of Jeeps with corrosion issues in your area? That sure sounds like a Stellantis issue to me. Also, why does it matter how many checks Stellantis has to cut to one particular dealer? If it's a warranty issue, it shouldn't matter where it's coming from. Definitely check another dealer
