Good evening. Thank you for sorting me into the thread. I just purchased my first Jeep Wrangler. 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. I’ve opened it just over a week and today I noticed that there is corrosion on all the door and tailgate hinges. Is this still under warranty? Kind of disappointing for a 3 year old vehicle to already have corrosion. Any insight on what I should do and how I can prevent more would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Yea, this is a common issue.

If you’re still within 3 years 36,000 miles of the first owner’s original purchase date it would be covered under warranty.

Unfortunately I’m at 46,000 miles. I thought I read that outer panels are covered for 5 years.
