I know the about the 4xe issues, but I've had zero issues with mine. I recently got Solar for my house due to the frequent power outages. I also added a Tesla wall charger to the system. With the solar I can charge the vehicles during the day from the panels and at night from the batteries.
A set up that worked for me was the Evdance 50amp/240v/21Ft EV extension cord and the for the Jeep the Evdance mini (80A) NACS to J1772 adapter.
NOTE: I would like to state that I called Tesla and they don't recommend using EV extensions cords but due to my house set up with the garage in the back, it is a necessity. Also, in some websites it shows the mini NACS to J1772 adapter NOT compatible with the 4xe but after emailing the company and testing it, it works fine.
Be advised that for charging the Jeep, the Tesla App has to set to "All Vehicles" and it is recommended to wait 30sec after placing the adapter and connecting to the Jeep. In my case it takes longer to connect everything to where I park the Jeep. Hope this help someone.
